The tournament will feature competition in all NFL Debate Events: Policy (Cross-Examination) Debate, Public Forum Debate, and Lincoln-Douglas Debate on the appropriate Resolutions. We will also offer competition in the NFL Speech Events (Domestic and Foreign Extemps, Original Oratory, Humorous and Dramatic Interps, and Duo Interp). We will again use the California Plan in Speech. Finally, we will offer Student Congress available to all entrants under a separate quota system. Once again, we will offer the DuPont Supplemental Speech Tournament alongside qualifiers in NFL Speech events. Supplemental Speech events (Prose, Poetry, Impromptu, Storytelling) do not advance to NFL Nationals; but will count for the Washington Sweepstakes Award in Speech. |
