Legislation: For the Primary Docket, each Congressor must submit a piece of legislation on the website, either a resolution or a bill, in one of the topic areas listed below. A second or third piece of legislation may be submitted, but these will only be considered on a second or subsequent docket after the entire first docket has been considered.
Topic Areas: All submitted legislation will be in one of the four Topic Areas: Domestic: Dealing with US-specific domestic legislation.
Economic: Dealing with US-specific economic legislation.
International: Dealing with US relations with other governments or International NGO’s
Judges: Each school must enter one Congress judge for every five entries. The judge need not have ever judged Congress before, but should be capable of judging a three minute informative and persuasive speech.
Rules: The National Forensic League rules will govern the Princeton Congress. Roberts Rules of Order will be the final arbiter. No computers may be used in Chambers. |
