The National Forensics League, the nation’s oldest high school Speech and Debate student honorary society, prepares students to be active and vibrant members of the professional and business community through teaching skills of communication and persuasion.  On the National level, the NFL boasts over 90,000 active student members and 3,500 active high school chapters.  On the state level, the NFL Virginia has nearly 1,000 current members in over 80 schools across Virginia.  On the National level, Lincoln Financial, Conoco/Phillips, Schwann Foods, the United Nations Foundation, Colorado College, Western Kentucky University, and George Mason University are among the many, many sponsors supporting the NFL.

We actively encourage Corporations, Colleges, and Community Groups to sponsor the NFL Virginia District in our tournament offerings, our scholarships to students, and our trophies and awards.  Groups may sponsor named event trophies, from Public Policy Debate to Dramatic Interpretation.  We will provide links to your website and be honored to have your representatives just the final rounds of these events.
