Quick-start guide on enrolling students in the NFL

Starting a new Affiliate Chapter starts with students who compete in Speech and Debate.  All student points are retroactive to the 9th grade year.  With eSubmission of points, the entire process has been streamlined and is very easy.  The forms are found in the HotSpots section to the right.

Quick-start guide on entering points in the NFL : The Electronic Method

Each and every student who competes in Virginia Forensics League State Tournament must be an NFL member — having  at least 25 NFL points on record at the National Office one week before Districts.  To enter points online with Nationals is incredibly simple.

1. Contact the National Forensics League for your User Name and Password.  Fill in the feedback form and they will get back to you on what you’ll need.

Quick-start on Your Members and Degrees

Based on the number of points a student has, a degree is added to your chapter.  Each student who competes in NFL Districts must be on-record at Nationals as having 25 pts, or the Membership Key.  The more degrees a chapter has (students and points), the more competitors they can enter.
